Approximate length: an hour and a half.
Description: it is a purely urban route on foot. The first
place to visit is the former collegiate church of Cangas (Renaissance
and Gothic style). Going down Rúa Real (street) we can see
emblazoned houses and beautiful buildings dated from the end of the
XIXth century, with eclectic style and magnificent closed balconies.
 After
that, we start the visit in the Alameda, where
we can find several sculptural monuments (from
artists as known as Asorey or Juan Piñeiro) and
a famous weather station dated from the
beginning of the XXth century and popularly
known as “O Reloxo”. After that, we walk to the
heart of O Costal quarter, the medieval part of
Cangas, where we can gaze at the different types
of old fishing houses: “casas terreñas” and
houses with “patín” etc. and also the old
quarter and O Señal quarter, where the visit
finishes. The entire route is embellished with
historic stories and legends.
